HDFury Integral 2 is a true 2×2 4K60 4:4:4 600MHz 18Gbps HDMI matrix/splitter/switcher/scaler/converter/audio de-embedder capable of connecting any HDCP revision source devices to any HDCP revision sink devices. HDfury Integral 2 can also act as an Infoframe and HDR metadata Injector and Extractor, HDCP Doctor, CEC Commander, HDMI Doctor, EDID manager, and more.
HDfury Integral 2 is capable of converting HDCP, FHD<>UHD Resolution, Chroma, Color Depth, Color Space, and more in order to individually feed any of the connected sinks at their best capabilities. Users can pass through Dolby Vision or HDR from Source to TV while sending Dolby Atmos or any sound format to a non-DV or HDR-capable AVR.
It supports any HDMI, any HDCP, and any HDR up to HDR10+, HLG, or Dolby Vision, including LLDV. HDMI Audio is compatible with any sound format in existence today. It provides full EDID management for optimal handling of today’s wide variety of sources and displays and comes with OSD, IR, RS232, and stereo or optical audio output for ARC up to Atmos®, DD+®, Dolby® 7.1, DTS® and LPCM for a capable sink.
Crucially, what this means is that you can display HDCP 2.2 Content with Non-HDCP 2.2 Compliant Devices.
HDCP 2.2 is the copy-protection scheme for 4K UHD content. Source devices, including media servers and head-ends like Netflix, will encode their 4K content with HDCP 2.2. TVs must be HDCP 2.2-enabled to play it, and everything in the video chain, including switches and receivers, must be compliant as well, or the display will go dark and/or display an HDCP error message. Bad news for consumers who have purchased expensive receivers and displays to accommodate 4K. While the newer products may support the bandwidth needs of 4K, they won’t play copy-protected works until Integral is an active part of the setup.
HDMI Audio Extracting - HDFury Integral 2 can extract HDMI audio up to 5.1 and pass through any sound format, including Atmos, via HDMI. It has a simultaneous output of analog L/R stereo and up to 5.1 optical S/PDIF via a 3.5mm combo jack connector.
