The STM-DA3 Microphone Level 1 x 3 Distribution Amplifier from RDL is a compact and portable microphone distribution amplifier designed for use in broadcast and recording applications. It can be used in a studio or out in the field and can be mounted with adhesive for permanent or temporary installs.
The STM-DA3 provides suitable audio quality with low self-noise. Featuring a 1.2-kOhm balanced input, the unit accepts a wide variety of mic input levels without loading low-impedance microphones. Phantom power can be supplied when the supply voltage is connected to the "PHM" screw terminal. A multi-turn trimmer allows you to adjust the gain to match microphone levels.
The three balanced outputs provide full audio isolation. A dual LED VU meter shows green over a 15 dB range and goes to red when the optimum operating level is exceeded.
